A beautifully handpainted and gilded Minton vase, dating to c.1840. It features two panels of decoration - one of flowers and one of a courting couple and both are surrounded with tooled gilt rosebud garlands.
Some light scratches to the glaze in places. A small firing flaw to one handle, original to manufacture. A repair to the stem, not easily seen when upright.
