An antique Yates tea or hot water pot - quite a large piece at approximately 30cm tall. Beautifully decorated with cobalt ground, ornate gilding and handpainted flowers.

The finial is a replacement - there is a crack extending down the side of the lid which probably occurred when the original finial was broken. There is a crack running around the spout, which I have photographed from the inside and the outside. Additionally, there is a crack running around the join between the foot and the body. It's a beautiful, stable piece for display.
